Bialik Early Learning Centre

Bialik College’s Early Learning Centre careers for children from 3 year old Kinder to Year 1.

It is inspired by the Reggio Emilia educational approach which challenges the role of educators to strive to make visible the curiosity and resilience of the young child through active listening.

Every year the ELC produces a journal that presents the research, theories and curiosities of their young students and teachers.

Idaho has been working with Bialik College ELC for over 14 years.

Challenge

To create an overall look and feel for the journal that perfectly complemented the ELC’s branding and personality, whilst respecting each individual article’s unique points of difference in a professional and coherent manner.

Solution

To celebrate the children’s stories, Idaho designed a clean, bold look for  ELC Journal, using big hero images, and a varied use of typography to identify the different ‘voices’ (teacher and student) throughout.
