CitiPower and Powercor
CitiPower and Powercor wanted a promotional item to be handed out at an awards night. They chose a small pot that contained seeds that can be planted directly into the garden. The key message on this item was: “delivering the energy to grow”.
To make the item useful, memorable, engaging and relevant. Communicate all the required information in a limited space.
Idaho chose the variety of seed (lettuce) that would be easy to grow, and appeal to most people and then created most of the copy that appears on the package – keeping it light-hearted with taglines such as “Excellence is just the tip of the iceberg” and “Sowing the seeds of success”.
On the inside we included a recipe for a lettuce, blue cheese, pear and hazelnut salad. A subtle decorative lettuce pattern with growing power cord vines covers the package.
The product packaging is printed on 100% recycled board using soy and vegetable based inks.
