CitiPower and Powercor
Citipower and Powercor are electricity distributors and manage the poles, wires and equipment that deliver electricity to homes and businesses in Melbourne and through central and western Victoria.
The Citipower Finance team had recently redefined their department values. They requested we create a series of internal posters to display these values around the office in a way that would make staff jump on board and get involved and excited about the new direction.
A Word document with a detailed list of the new values, a descriptive sentence and a number of behaviours for each value formed the basis of our brief. The challenge was to bring these values to life in a visual way that was engaging and concise. A huge amount of information was to be collated and displayed in an ‘easy to digest’ way.
We decided the best way to visually display this large volume of information was to use illustrations that were engaging and really made people take notice and to read the values.
Idaho designed individual posters for each value and conducted an internal photo shoot of staff members taking ownership of the values they all had set. We illustrated the extensive list of value behaviours in a way that really made people stop and try to work out exactly what the visual was illustrating.
