Aker Solutions
Aker Solutions is a global oil services company based in Norway providing oilfield products, systems and services worldwide for customers in the oil and gas industry. In Australia Aker Solutions provided an wide range of engineering snd construction services to the resources industry before being acquired by Jacobs Engineering in 2011. (see also our work wth Jacobs).
CHALLENGE
Idaho was asked to design and write a publication for internal distribution that would promote/build awareness of the Australian business among global Aker Solutions team.
We needed to develop something that would capture and retain the attention of busy corporate executives and managers of the diverse Aker Solutions businesses around the world.
SOLUTION
We decided to move away from the traditional “company brochure” format which so many professional services organisations fall back on.
Idaho developed a magazine-style layout with short articles, advertisement-style communication highlighting key projects, designed to be read easily and to encourage the audience to come back and read articles that interest them.
