ACEMS – The Australian Research Council (ARC) Centre of Excellence for Mathematical and Statistical Frontiers.
ACEMS brings together a critical mass of Australia’s best researchers in applied mathematics, statistics, mathematical physics and machine learning to research innovative methods for the analysis of data with theoretical, methodological and computational foundations, provided by advanced mathematical and statistical modelling.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
ACEMS’ Annual Report is a critical document as part of the Centre’s ARC reporting requirements, and spanning 164 pages, the 2016 Annual Report was ACEMS’ third and most adventurous report to date.
Idaho worked with the ACEMS team to develop a medium that not only met the Centre’s governance requirements, but was a vehicle to showcase ACEMS varied mathematical science research projects and how they impacted on global issues such as the environment, wildlife protection and medical breakthroughs.
