“After spending almost 20 years working in communications and marketing in resources and engineering firms, it was a pleasure to return to this sector and assist UGL in preparing tenders for a number of major utilities projects.”
Jacqui Rudd, Communication Partner
UGL has been a leading provider of engineering, project management, construction and maintenance services across Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia over the last 50 years, employing more than 7,000 people.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Like most engineering services companies, UGL is required to submit detailed tenders for the projects it bids for. The challenge every time is to ensure that your tender stands out from your competitors. In the case of UGL, there was often not a lot of opportunity to be creative or overly expansive as clients required strict adherence to specific tense schedules.
Jacqui worked with UGL to create effective tender documents with particular emphasis on the executive summaries and information schedules for these documents – ensuring consistency of brand, message and clarity of the information delivered. Jacqui worked with UGL on a total of 14 bids over a 16 month period – most of which moved to the next stage of bidding and a number of which were successful.
